EDIT: I'd like to introduce to everyone my partner, David, who has recently set up on DA tree-gypsy.deviantart.com/ - he does wood carving, and it is he who is teaching me how to carve! Hello. I've been away for a while, working on an uninhabited Island, living in a lighthouse with my partner. We were the only people there and it was as brilliant as it sounds. It was work for the RSPB on a tern colony off the coast of Wales, UK.

The terns are a total joy, even when they are telling you off and pooing on you, and all the other animals there were brilliant. It is great to live with them as they are accustomed to our presence and are not disturbed by us as we are the only people there and so live alongside us quite contently.  The terns were nesting right outside our windows and doors, and their chicks are just adorable. The puffins and seals were a particular favourite of mine, there is nothing better than swimming with seals in the evening light.

I will soon be inundating my gallery with various photos from the Island, I hope some of them warrant a look.

Hello everyone, i am back from Belize! It was an amazing 3 months in a beautiful country. The people are so friendly over there and the wildlife and jungle and mountains are stunning

I am going away today for 3 MONTHS to BEELIIZEEEE (central america). which is very exciting. going to be helping with research to try and sort out a wildlife corridor between the south and north patches of forest there by jaguar, other big cat and prey animal research.

However, there won't be any time at all for deviantart while im over there, so thank you everyone so much for the huge amount of support ive recently had, it means a great deal to me
